Why does Joby Academy offer training to the public?
Joby Academy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Joby Aviation. We provide both flight and maintenance training for individuals seeking single-engine land pilot ratings and Light Sport Repairman, Airplane (LSRMA) certificates. We do not currently offer publicly available flight training in the powered-lift category or on the Joby S4 electric aircraft.
Our mission is to remove barriers and increase access to aviation education and careers. We do this by providing the highest quality of training for the next generation of aviation professionals.
